Important Update on MTU/SDC Ice Arena for Power Skating and Other Activities

Over the weekend we experienced a punctured freon line caused by a broken fan bracket in the ice arena. This forced the cancellation of several hockey league games as well as Monday morning power skating.

The repairs have been made and the ice plant is operating as it should but we want to ensure that the ice is repaired properly from the accident over the weekend.  Therefore we will postpone all league games and power skating for the remainder of this week. We will resume both programs the week of August 28.

The hockey league schedule will be:

A Division      9/1  5:50pm-6:50pm    2v3    Wed
               9/3  6pm-7pm          1v3    Fri
               9/4  12:40-1:40pm     1v2    Sat

B Division      9/4  11:30-12:30pm           Sat

C Division      9/3  7:10-8:10 pm     2v4    Fri
               9/4  1:50-2:50pm      1v2    Sat
               9/4  3:00-4:00pm      3v4    Sat

Power skating will resume on Monday August 28 and run through Friday September 3.

We appreciate your patience!
