INCH: Maranatha Homeschool Family Week
August 21-27, 2010
Contact: Mike & Kim Winter (withheld for archive) Hosted at Maranatha Missionary Bible Conference near Muskegon
Summer is almost over -- so consider making time for one last 'hurrah' to the beach, and getting some great homeschool help, fellowship, and encouragement at the same time!!! PLUS>>> it's very reasonably priced: all morning and evening programs are FREE! Some topics covered in the programs include: fellowship services, time management skills, disciplinary skills, teaching multiple grades, teaching high schoolers at home, and other homeschooling topics. There is a children's program as well as some topics geared towards fathers and some geared more towards mothers.
There is a daily charge (or weekly charge) to use the full facilities and grounds. This includes the beach, pool, mini-golf, tennis, canoes and kayaks, climbing tower and zipline when they are open, exercise room, gym, craft room, special family group events such as waterslide day, etc. Guests would pay the off campus rates. For more information visit: http://www.vacationwithpurpose.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=54&Itemid=21
Hoffmaster State Park is just 2 miles away and many families have camped there and then participated in daily events before. Numerous other campgrounds, hotels, and motels are available in the Muskegon area, as well -- along with other fun family activities and destinations.
