Portage Library Hosts Financial Planning Classes for Teens
Teens- Ever wonder how you will manage your money in the future? Come to the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) financial planning classes for high school students and find out!
Seven classes will be held at the Portage Lake District Library at 7:00 p.m. on Mondays, February 2, 9, 16, 23, and March 2, 9, and 16. Students will learn how to create a financial plan, create a budget, develop a personal savings and investing plan, use credit wisely, keep money safe and secure, know what insurance to buy, and examine how a career choice and lifestyle affect a person's financial plan.
