Library Events,

LIBRARY EVENTS

Here are some fantastic programs that are being presented by great organizations. They are all for children and families.

Joan Chadde and her students from the Western U.P. Center for Science, Math, and Environmental Education at MTU are willing to do a program for homeschooling families on a Friday afternoon from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. That is the day and time that many of you told me works best for your schedules.

The program would be Part II of the event listed in the attachment in this email and would focus on more and different engineering activities for K-6 students and their families.

I would like to schedule it in April for the best continuity for your kids. April could be Engineering Month filled with science projects and activities. April 9 might be too close on the heels of the evening before, and Home School Drama is scheduled for April 16 and 30. That leaves Friday, April 23 as the only choice.

Does that sound good to you? I would like a registration affirmation from you before I schedule it. You can call me at the library at 482-4570 or email me at calquist@hotmail.com
