Invite everyone you know because this Saturday, March 21 at 7:30pm, Dr. Randy Guliuzza will be speaking at the Rozsa Center. This is a free event, open to the public. Dr. Guliuzza is from the Institute for Creation Research.

This is an outreach event with the purpose of getting people on our campus thinking about God being the intelligent Creator Designer of life. Please invite people who may have questions or differing opinions about Creation/evolution to hear what He has to say.

On Saturday night, he will be speaking about the human reproductive systems. More information about this is below.

Content: This presentation will cover rarely discussed details of human reproduction that form irrefutable arguments for a supernaturally designed system. All topics are covered in a tasteful manner and there is no discussion of external anatomy. Rather, the listener is put into the seat of a typical medical student taking in the detailed--though thoroughly explained--process of reproductive physiology and microscopic anatomy. Quotations directly from medical texts will guide the lecture through topics such as:

  • the process of sperm formation and design features to protect them from auto-destruction
  • how random genetic mutations could never produce the intricate, coordinated physiology necessary for fertilization
  • how the lethal diseases that result when mistakes occur in the process
  • how mother's immune system is controlled by the baby to prevent its own rejection
  • how baby's hormones maintain pregnancy, control maternal metabolism and prime the mother for delivery
  • The content is strictly scientific, but the inescapable conclusions give God all the glory, showing that we are truly "fearfully and wonderfully made."

Dr. Randy Guliuzza is a captivating speaker who presents well-documented and often humorous scientific and biblical presentations. He has represented ICR in several scientific debates at secular universities and in other forums. He specializes in assisting laymen and technical people see scientific data from the creation science perspective. Dr. Guliuzza has a B.S. in Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, a B.A. in theology from Moody Bible Institute, the M.D. from the University of Minnesota, and the Masters in Public Health from Harvard University. Dr. Guliuzza served nine years in the Navy Civil Engineer Corps and is a registered professional engineer. He was a physician in the U.S. Air Force until retiring in 2008.

On Sunday, March 22 Dr. Guliuzza will be speaking at Houghton Baptist Church at the 9:00 and 11:15 church services.
