Beach Day
This Thursday we will be at Chassell Beach again from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Airplanes
The EAA Young Eagles program invites children 8-17 to take a short flight in a private airplane. Meet at the Houghton County Airport on Saturday, July 10 by 10:00 am. Basic information on the workings of an airplane will also be discussed. In order to assure that enough planes and pilots are on hand, please pre-register by emailing Holly at (withheld for archive)with the word "Airplanes" in the subject line and the number of your aviators in the text. There is no cost, and the event is subject to weather. More info at www.youngeagles.org.
PowerPoint Workshop
Next Tuesday at 6:30, the Portage Lake District Library will host a workshop about Using PowerPoint Effectively.
