LIBRARY PROGRAMS QUESTIONAIRE AND UPCOMING EVENTS
Hi everyone,

I am polling home schooling families and asking all of you to please tell me if you are interested in attending library events and programs or if you are not interested.

If you do want to participate, when is a good time to schedule library programs and events so that you may attend. Evening? Daytime? Weekday? Saturday?

I also want to know what kind of programs you want to have at the library. Science? History? Travel? Nature? Nutrition? Hobbies? Entertainment? Music? Others?

I also want to know what age(s) you want programs geared towards. Young children? Grade School? High School? Adult? Family? All ages?

My email is (withheld for archive) You can also talk with me in the library. I'm also available by phone during the day and/or evening: (withheld for archive)

Thank you, and I sincerely appreciate your responses to these questions.

I hope you all have a great day!
There will also be a special Holiday Storytime at the library this Saturday, December 19, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Members from the Houghton High School Key Club will read stories and guide children through a Holiday project that they can take home.

FAMILY ADVENTURE HIKE
Just a reminder that our next Family Adventure hike (snowshoe) will be
this Saturday, Dec.19 from 2-4.
The Jim Rooks Nature Sanctuary is on the left side of US-41, right
before coming into
Copper Harbor.  The regular trailhead is snowed in, so we will meet at
1:45 in the parking lot of the Copper Harbor Welcome Center.  Restrooms
are available at the Welcome Center.  We will have snowshoes available.
There's no need to RSVP, but if you wanted to let me know if your family
plans on joining us and how many pairs of snowshoes you will need, that
would be great!
Please let me know if you have any questions or need more specific
directions.
I hope to see you there!
