As we considered how to make Gym Day useful to more families, we realized we needed more information. Please consider taking a few minutes to reply to this short poll regarding homeschool gym / recreation day. Your response will be a great help to us in planning activities that meet the needs of area homeschoolers like yourself. Please reply or email ccheupdates@gmail.com with "Gym Poll" in the subject. 1. How often do you plan to participate in Gym Day? Weekly, Every Other Week, Monthly, Other.
2. Is Thursday afternoon 1:00 to 3:00 a good time for you? Would another day be better? Another time? Do you need to meet a bus at 3:00?
3. Would you prefer Gym Day to be age-specific, older children and teens meeting at a separate time from younger children and toddlers, or do you prefer keeping all ages together?
4. Would you rather have open swim at MTU than open gym? Or is there another venue that you think would work better?
5. The current cost of open gym is $2/child capping at $6/family paid directly to Finlandia. What seems to be a reasonable cost per child and per family for gym and for swim, and how often would you be willing to participate at that cost? (For example, perhaps you would want to swim every week for $3/child, but once a month for $12/child. Or maybe you think swimming is not worth paying more than gym. Or maybe family discount is of great importance to you.) Please try to give us specific parameters.
